VROOM Video: Point and Switch

VROOM Video: Point and Switch

July 1, 2022

Have your child copy your hand motions, like a pointed finger or a closed fist.  After going back and forth a few times, ask your child to do the opposite: when you point a finger, she makes a fist.  Try this game with other movements too.

Brainy Background powered by Mind in the Making: Your child is paying close attention, using her memory and self-control, to mimic your actions.  Asking your child to do an opposite action promotes thinking flexibly, as important skill for learning.
