Freda Burstyn, MBA

Vice Chair for Administration, Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics, Mount Sinai Health System

Freda Burstyn is the Vice Chair for Administration for the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Mount Sinai Health System. She provides leadership and is responsible for the strategic planning, development and implementation of initiatives for the Pediatric program. She plays an integral role in analyzing and setting priorities in collaboration with the Mount Sinai President’s Office and Leadership in the Mount Sinai Health System that will further expand operations for the Department, sustain improvement and direct success for the future. Ms. Burstyn’s role builds upon almost two decades of achievements at Mount Sinai where she now brings a wealth of executive management and leadership expertise to the forefront. She received her Bachelor of Science in Medical Technology and her Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in management from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, Florida. Ms. Burstyn is a member of the Association of Administrators in Academic Pediatrics.
