Director of Women and Children’s Social Work at Mount Sinai Hospital
Bambi Fisher oversees and provides leadership to a staff of Social Workers and Care Coordinators in the Pediatric and Obstetric Social Work program. Ms. Fisher is on faculty in the Department of Environmental Medicine & Public Health and the Department of Pediatrics. She is a Wellness Advisor to medical students at the Icahn School of Medicine also works as a consultant and liaison to the Pediatric Environmental Health Specialty Unit (PEHSU) at Mount Sinai.
Ms. Fisher specializes in work related to both chronic illness management as well as school and preschool mental health consultations and parental guidance. She is a graduate of the University of Missouri, School of Social Work, and has advanced training in Child and Adolescent Treatment from Fordham University in New York.
