Child’s Play in Action: Magic Mirror

This games connects us with our kids in quiet and reflective bonding time. It fosters communication even though no words are actually spoken. Choose a “leader” and a “reflection”, set up a scenario (morning routine, acting like an animal, etc.) and mirror your child and have them mirror you. Our collaborator, developmental psychologist Dr. Belinda Bellet, weighs in on why the game promotes mindfulness and increases positivity in our parenting (it’s all about the neurons in the brain!) Come on over here to tell us how you played it!
