    We look forward to another season of learning about diabetes and implementing healthy self-care for those with type 2 diabetes. We encourage participants to attend all classes, but this is not mandatory.  If you would like to attend, RSVP to Camilla Levister at This class is open to employees, patients, and the general public. Classes take place at 5 East 98th Street, third floor from 5:15-6:45 pm and will occur on the following dates:

    • Tuesday, March 26: Nutrition and diabetes: healthy eating, reading a food label, basics of carbohydrate counting and healthy cooking demo
    • Tuesday, April 30: Medications: oral medications, injectable medications, insulin, exercise motivation & recommendations, and healthy cooking demo
    • Tuesday, May 28: Diabetes and stress management and healthy cooking demo
  • Women’s Health Fair hosted by the REACH Program

    Saturday, May 4th, 10am - 4pm Harlem Neighborhood Health Action Center: 158 East 115th Street

    The Respectful and Equitable Access to Comprehensive Healthcare Program is hosting a women’s health fair for National Women’s Health week. The health fair will include free health screenings, HIV/Hep C testing, community resources, wellness activities, food, and giveaways. For more information, call 646-951-1693.
