To our wonderful and supportive audience, we thank you for being a subscriber to the Parenting Center’s Tip of the Week. We will be taking a pause for the summer until Labor Day, but we look forward to sharing more tips in the fall!
In the time you would have spent reading our tips, we encourage you to take 30 seconds to practice self-care or to do any other activity that helps you return to baseline during this stressful time. A few suggestions include:
- Practice breathing for relaxation
- Stretch and move your body
- Explore your surroundings using all five senses
- Practice gratitude, kindness, and compassion
- Read an affirmation
