  • SAVI VOLUNTEER PATIENT ADVOCATE TRAINING OPEN FOR FALL 2017

    The Mount Sinai Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention (SAVI) program is currently recruiting for the Fall 2017 SAVI Volunteer Emergency Department Patient Advocate Training. The program requires two six-hour slots of visiting the Emergency Department (ED) and 40 hours with experts in the fields of trauma and social justice.   • PAWS AND PLAY FACILITY DOG PROGRAM

    Professor Bunsen Honeydew, an 18-month-old golden doodle, recently joined the Kravis Children’s Hospital at Mount Sinai. For more information on having Professor Bunsen Honeydew visit a patient, contact Morgan Stojanowski at 212-241-2939.

  • ICARE Team

    The ICARE Team is a peer support program for health care workers who have experienced a stressful work-related event, usually clinical in nature. Employees seeking support through the ICARE team are encouraged to call 212-241-8989 (24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and someone will return their call).   • FREE YOGA CLASSES

    No registration is required to attend these free yoga classes provided by Mount Sinai Calm. Mats are provided to participants.   • Mount Sinai Greenmarket

    Wednesdays through November 22, 8 am – 5 pm Madison Avenue and 99th Street

    At the Mount Sinai Greenmarket, attendees can buy fresh locally grown fruits, vegetables, and more. Additionally, a clothing collection and food scrap collection are available from 8 am – 2 pm.     To help support the Mount Sinai Sexual Assault and Violence Intervention (SAVI) program, a fundraiser has been created with Chipotle. To participate, tell a cashier at the below listed Chipotle that you are supporting the cause. 50 percent of your sale will be donated to the Program.
