  • Teen Fit Program

    Mondays (4 - 5:30 pm), Wednesdays and Fridays (3:30 -5 pm) Adolescent Health Center, 312 E 94th Street

    The goals of the program are to improve participants’ lifestyles by increasing physical activities, improving healthy eating habits and improving emotional well-beings.

    The program includes physical activity class 2 days a week, nutrition classes once a week, and support groups 2 days a week.

  • Parenting Center Panel Discussion

    Courtney Corleto & Ferebee Taube invite you to the next Mount Sinai Parenting Center Panel Discussion, all about how to talk to children about tricky topics before caregivers are prepared to do so.

    The title of the talk is, “The End of Innocence: From the Newsroom to the Living Room, How to Tackle Difficult Questions Before You Are Ready.”

  • Social Work Support Group for Interns and Residents

    This is open to all pediatric interns and residents, and takes place on the 8th Floor of the Kravis Children’s Hospital.

  • Transgender Support Group

    Every Wednesday, 4:30 - 6:30 pm Adolescent Health Center, 312 E 94th Street

    A socialization group for Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming, and Gender-Variant teens (ages 12-24). The purpose of this group is to provide a safe forum for therapeutic discussion and psychoeducational activities related to themes such as peer relations, body image, sexuality and family relations.

  • Cultivating the Social and Emotional Development of Infants and Toddlers

    May 9, 2017, 12 - 1 pm

    This workshop will identify social-emotional milestones in infants and toddlers, discuss the adult’s role in strengthening a child’s social-emotional skills, explore strategies for enhancing relationships, and detect warning signs that can hinder the healthy emotional development of a child.

    This workshop is open to Mount Sinai Employees.
